You still have an extra week! Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity! Apply now at Godot Art Expora

The Godot Art Expo competition could mark a real breakthrough for the young generation of artists, and there is still a week left to apply. It is well known that making a living from art is not an easy task, and galleries are not always open to long‑term commitments towards emerging artists. These problems are addressed by the Godot Art Expo competition.

The winners of the Art Expo are given the opportunity to showcase and sell their works to a broad audience. During the ten‑day Godot Art Expo, thousands of visitors attend, and 90 % of the exhibiting artists sell their pieces. The Godot Institute connects artists with buyers, helping them build their own networks, and they can also be admitted into the Godot mentor programme.

After the art fair, an artist is given the opportunity to join the Godot Labor, a permanent artist circle that embraces youth, or to receive an independent exhibition slot in one of the Godot Intézet’s gallery spaces. Ten further creators are invited to the Godot Mezőszemere Művésztelepre, where they can work in a dynamic and inspiring environment with full support and material‑cost funding.

For successful applicants, the online exhibition space bygodot.hu offers an extra advantage beyond the event, providing year‑round opportunities to showcase and sell works.

The deadline for submitting the application is 16 July 2023, and it must be sent to [email protected].
