Plan your visit
Good to know.
A few practical answers before you visit Godot.
Where is Godot?
Godot has three exhibition spaces at two Budapest addresses. Godot Institute and Godot Labor Gallery are at Fényes Adolf utca 21, 1036 Budapest. Godot Gallery is at Bartók Béla út 11–13, 1114 Budapest. Check your exhibition’s venue before setting out.
When can I visit?
Opening hours depend on the venue and exhibition. Check the current hours and the exhibition’s visiting dates on the Hungarian source page before travelling. An opening event can take place on a different day from the first regular visiting day.
Do I need a ticket?
Admission conditions vary by exhibition. The exhibition’s current Hungarian page gives the authoritative ticket or free-entry information. Ticket checkout is currently in Hungarian.
Are historical exhibitions open?
No. Past exhibition pages are archival records with descriptions, photographs and related stories; they do not indicate a currently visitable programme.
Is every byGodot artist represented by Godot Gallery?
No. Appearing in the byGodot catalogue is not the same as gallery representation. The artist directory identifies these connections separately.
How can I ask a question?
Write to [email protected] and include the exhibition and date you have in mind so we can point you to the correct venue.
