2024. 05. 18. 17:00

Art historian Éva Bicskei, director of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Art Collection, accompanies visitors through the exhibition *Kérem, sóhajtson, Széchenyi Úr!* She conjures the sighs of academicians and the towering figures of science alike, as streams of oxygen breathe life into them, and summons them with the ventilation elements uncovered in the MTA building. Bicskei tells visitors about the shared history and connection between the MTA’s ventilation elements and the visual artist Endre Koronczi, and about the artistic assessability and afterlife of the discarded fragments of a once‑symbolic building of great antiquity.
