Koronczi Endre’s decades‑long research and collecting activity have produced the exhibition titled “Kérem, sóhajtson Széchenyi Úr!”, which exalts the cosmic airflow that links people with their surroundings.

The exhibition’s central installation is a monumental object built from the ventilation system of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Over the course of our history, the components that have supplied the collective breath of hundreds of brilliant scientists within the interior of a dynamically working building—once hidden—now reveal to us a special kind of air’s pathway. In the show, wind and breath become a metaphor for the soul, with Koronczi creating dust‑devils and swirling vents that stir visitors’ imaginations with real air movements. The videos, kinetic installations and graphics featured in the exhibition *Kérem, sóhajtson Széchényi Úr!* draw on the everyday experience of wind to convey the beauty and power of the invisible, unbroken airflow.

Koronczi Endre has been a defining figure in Hungary’s progressive visual arts scene since the 90s. He was awarded the Munkácsy Mihály Award in 2022. His exhibitions have also been shown in a number of notable Hungarian venues, including the Budapest Galéria, Műcsarnok, Kiscelli Múzeum, Off‑Biennálé, ICA‑D, Ludwig Múzeum, Trafó Kortárs Művészetek Háza, Ferenczy Múzeumi Centrum, MODEM, Magyar Nemzeti Galéria and Robert Capa Kortárs Fotográfiai Központ.
