A special encounter of body and space in art – a unique performative gallery tour with dance‑conductor artist Krisztián Gergye at the exhibition of Miklós Szüts and Erzsébet Vojnich.
Erzsébet and Miklós’s human‑less realms continually awaken in me a desire for dance, or perhaps we might call it embodiment instead. For these are such exceptional spaces into which a dancer longs to step, hoping something moving, something extraordinary will happen to them – that their existence finally has purpose, or that they might realise it has none, yet still allow themselves to be part of life’s solemnity, the dignity of solitude. For while it seems as though nothing is happening, or that nothing at all comes to pass, in the silence the test may yet take place.
