When the space turns out to be tiny: a cultural summit meeting and full house at Godot.

A rare moment in the life of a cultural institution, when the phrase “telt ház” is not merely a turn of phrase but a genuine organisational challenge. On the evening of 4 December, exactly this happened with us: Dr Máriás latest, provocatively titled – Long live the dictatorship! – They were so eager for the unveiling of the jubilee album that we only managed to start the programme with almost a half‑hour delay, by the time we had admitted every interested person into the jostling queue.

Where the art world and public life meet
While drifting through the crowd, we were delighted to recognise so many familiar faces, who, by their presence, raised the evening's prestigeIt was a meeting of art and public life. We were honoured by his presence. Gergely Karácsony the mayor, who also posted about the event on his social media page, and the humour powerhouse, Sándor Fábry is.
It was a special pleasure to welcome the key figures of Hungarian cultural and business life among us: they were there. Pataki Ágnes and Gábor Kovács, from among the creators of the visual‑arts scene Peter Weiler and Simon Mazula Tibor painters
Professional recognition for us that it has arrived. Zoltán Rockenbauer Esztéta, art historian, former minister of national cultural heritage, and Dr Máriás’s dedicated collectors, including Kacsuk Péter and István ForgácsIt reinforced the diversity of the guest list. Károly Gerendaithe founder of the Sziget Festival, and the former schoolmates from the New Territories: Rátgéber László basketball master coach and Móra Róbert computer scientist.

Krisztián Nyáry: 'It could look like an opening exhibition…'
The host and moderator of the evening is an indispensable figure of literary life, Krisztián Nyáry There was someone who heckled the author onstage. In a nutshell, he summarised the essence of the event in a Facebook post: It may appear to be an exhibition opening, but in reality we were holding a book launch.During the fiery‑spirit discussion, the audience sometimes laughed and other times thought deeply about DrMáriás's ironic universe.

Echo in the press
The event made waves not only inside the walls but also across the national press. Leading news portals captured the evening’s ambience in detailed reports and photo galleries:
