De Godot Instituut voor Hedendaagse Kunst is een van de toonaangevende onafhankelijke hedendaagse kunstcentra van Boedapest, gelegen in de historische wijk van ÓbudaDe omgeving staat bekend om zijn levendige culturele sfeer, charmante straatjes en gerenoveerd industriële erfgoed — de perfecte setting om vooruitstrevende hedendaagse kunst te ontdekken.
Het Instituut werkt over.............................................. drie tentoonstellingslocaties:
De Godot ICA en Godot Labor zijn gevestigd in een voormalige textielfabriek, omgebouwd tot een groot, museumachtig tentoonstellingscomplex met een 700 m² zaal en een vierverdiepingententoonstellingsgebouw — een unieke en onafhankelijke instelling in de hedendaagse kunstscène van Hongarije.
Openingstijden – Hoe Godot werkt
De Godot-instituut volgt een speciaal bedrijfsmodel:
Onze ruimtes zijn alleen open tijdens actieve tentoonstellingen.
Tijdens tentoonstellingen zijn de openingstijden altijd:Donderdag tot zondag • 14:00–19:00
Tussen tentoonstellingen worden de ruimtes gesloten door deinstallatie, constructie en nieuwe installaties.

Eco Ticket – Godot’s Own Innovation
Godot is the first institution in Hungary to introduce the Eco Ticket:
Entry is free, and visitors contribute at the end of their visit — as much as they wish or are able to.
This model makes contemporary art more accessible and supports a more democratic cultural environment.
