The Godot Gallery has moved!
After eleven years of operation, the Godot Gallery is moving from Madách Street to Bartók Béla Street. We will continue to run with the same commitment; the gallery’s artist roster will remain unchanged, still representing progressive, constantly renewing yet still high‑standard, inquisitive creators. In a larger exhibition space we look forward to welcoming both old and new visitors, fans, and collectors!
At our new venue we are launching with a group exhibition entitled “Zacc?”. With our selection we sample from the very best of Hungary’s contemporary art market, while the prices for the show are set to match a “post‑Christmas devaluation” mood. The works on display come from a mixed pool: aside from the artists the gallery normally represents, we have chosen pieces by young artists, and we have also asked collectors to bring in works they are offering for sale. Thus the following list of names has emerged:
Imre Bukta
Borbála Blahó
Kim Corbisier
István Zámbó
El Kazovszkij
Erdei Krisztina
feLugossy László
Peter Földi
József Gaál
Győrffy László

During the opening of the exhibition we fondly treat document collectors with a special treat: we pull a selection of pieces from all our previous invitations.
Viewable: until March 5 with the new opening, from Tuesday to Friday 14 and 19, and on Saturday between 10 and 13 hours.
Our new address: 1114 Budapest, Bartók Béla Street 11.
