Weiler Peter: Explosive Sugar – Andy Warhol Studio Decker Building

My life is anchored in New York, and the city for me intertwines with the greatest pop‑art artists, such as the legendary venues as the Andy Warhol Factory or the Studio 54. I have always longed to experience those moments… so I am undertaking an experiment on this weekend, and in Budapest. The scenes brought to life in the pictures are set in New York, before the astounding architecture of the 60‑s and 70‑s, life goes on. The bustling city creates new legends and places, blending past and present. Small gestures, covers, cars and moods are captured from the metropolis’ post‑pop‑art everyday life.
