Karafiáth Orsolya's verses:
The blood
Colour cannot lie.
He speaks in words, and you understand.
It has shape, from the body.
They keep grateful vessels.
Just listen. Look. Miserable.
Your fear multiplies.
You think you cannot, forever,
or simply for the length of a sunset
"Blood runs in the heart, to give."
And if a thunderbolted storm comes before you:
a drumbeat's worth of signals.
Power to thank you.
The sky
The sky is scarlet. Or ochre.
Not to love as a sacrifice.
Mist. In the colour of water.
Half‑shadow nothing.
Believe you know him. The trickle.
As clouds drift.
Sérvé blue. Red. Silver.
Jump to another point of view.
Cobalt, azure, mauve.
Wave, breath, jellyfish.
A dried lake. Spring.
The wounded skin's lazúrja.
