Mindketten a hazai absztrakt képzőművészeti élet figyelemreméltó szereplői. Dinamikus formáikkal, lendületes vonalaikkal és élénk, merész, mégis harmonikus színhasználatukkal friss és eleven műveket hoznak létre. A hasítás mindkét művész alkotási folyamatának állandó eleme. Plank szobrain az organikusan szerveződő élek szigorúságában, míg Kaszásnál a monokróm vászon felszínét megbontó, oldott vonalmintákban köszön vissza. A több emeletet betöltő kiállítás, Kaszás és Plank szuggesztív művein keresztül, különleges bepillantást nyújt a nonfigurativitás átható sodrásába.

At the latest exhibition hosted by Godot Labor, painter Kaszás Konrád and sculptor Plank Antal jointly reveal a dizzying world of lines, colours and expanses. Although they create in different artistic disciplines, their works meet at several points, entering an exciting dialogue and dissolving into a common vision. Both are prominent figures in the national abstract visual arts scene. With dynamic shapes, vigorous lines and bright, daring yet harmonious use of colour, they produce fresh and lively pieces. The undertow is a constant element in both artists’ creative processes. Plank’s sculptures celebrate the rigid precision of organically arranged edges, while Kaszás’s monochrome canvases revert to molten line patterns that break up the surface. The multi‑storey display, through the suggestive works of Kaszás and Plank, offers a special insight into the pervasive swirl of non‑figurativism.

Online Opening: 2021 January 20, 20:00 – a joint online guided tour of the exhibition by artists Kaszás Konrád, Plank Antal and Cserhalmi Luca. The video will be available on the event's Facebook page.
