In 2022 it was formed the group it’s fine, which defines itself as an anti‑superhero movement. They reject the world’s positive direction, yet choose confrontation instead of anxiety. Their social criticism is conveyed through a deep‑seated irony that radiates genuine bitterness, the depression that pervades our world, hopelessness, and a yearning for the blessed ability to ignore.
In 2023, the members of the it’s fine artist group were the first to present their artistic statement in the scarred, underground spaces of Bunker Gallery, summarising the movement’s views according to their precise manifesto 10.
A Godot Labor’s four‑tiered space is being prepared for demolition with renewed agony and the modest admission of its hopelessness. Refusing the audience’s request for a more optimistic tone, they press on along the pre‑drawn path, for the world has not become any merrier since, and absurdity has been trimmed to the roof level.
The “it’s fine” 2 is an ode written to impotence, a hymn to impotence, an unending torment that draws an audience. The exhibition’s aim is to amplify the critical voice, to raise the water‑content of the domestic art scene, and to unite crowds finished by the constant expectation of motivation within a radical, fatigue‑driven disillusionment.
it’s fine, members of the artists’ group: Balogh Gallusz, Barcza Réka, Gáspár Annamária, Gulyás Andrea Katalin, KristofLab, w. Horváth Tibor
