Nagykarácsony / Contemporary Artefact for Christmas II

a

Christmas is approaching, and you’d like to surprise your loved ones with something lasting and timeless. Building on the success of last year’s similar exhibition, we’re organising a new Christmas market this year featuring 57 works by the artists. From 25 at the Godot Gallery you can see paintings and unique drawings that have until now been unseen or missed by you, and now you’ll regret overlooking them. Exhibition or, rather, a pop‑up? Let everyone decide for themselves!

In our selection, we sifted through the gallery’s storage and also asked well‑known private collectors to allow us to acquire those works they hold dear but can now part with for various reasons. For collectors, this step can often be rather long and painful, usually preceded by prolonged contemplation, but once the decision is reached we viewers and potential buyers can only rejoice, for intriguing, rare hidden treasures emerge each time. We managed to secure several pieces from a few artists for the exhibition.

During the exhibition period, from about November 25 to about December 18, we will welcome visitors with extended opening hours from Tuesday to Friday 12 to 19, and on Saturdays and Sundays between 10 and 13.

Here is the list, and below we showcase a number of works with pictures and prices.
