I look at Alexandra Kršňák’s works and reflect on them for a long time. Her paintings are marked by realistic, yet faceless figures, splashes of paint and restrained colours. What does she want to say to her viewers? Probably what so many of us feel in today’s fast‑paced, depersonalising world. She shows emotions that increasingly leave people to themselves. With her artistic creations she warns of the need for change. From both a content and a painterly technical perspective I recommend everyone to see the exhibition. – Csató Tamás, painter
