About us

Independent, contemporary art institute

 

Godot Institute and Godot Labor - opened in 2019 - with over 1,100 square metres of museum space, allowing us to offer the public a broad and immersive art experience. Now we operate three exciting and unique exhibition spaces: Godot Institute, Godot Labor (Fényes Adolf utca 21.) and Godot Gallery (Budapest, Bartók Béla út 11-13.).

We are preparing our next exhibitions and currently closed.

Godot Gallery:

Tuesday to Friday: 10 am to 2 pm

Saturday: 10 am to 1 pm

Tickets

Tickets are online and on-site, we accept cash and credit cards.

 

Godot Institute is introducing the new "Prix Libre" admission fee model, where you can decide - when you leave - how much you would pay for the entrance fee, above the minimum 1000 HUF. This allows you to express your appreciation for the Institute's past efforts and/or exhibitions.
Come, see and decide - set the price for your art experience!


 

  • The ticket office closes at 6:30 pm 

  • Admission to the Godot Institute exhibitions is free for children under 14 years of age with parental guidance.

  • In case of a journalist's card, registration is required (please indicate the medium).

  • Group discount: godotica@gmail.com

 

Exhibitions in the Godot Gallery on Bartók Béla Street are free of charge.

Fényes Adolf utca: 

 

by public transportation:

  • by bus 9, 29 or 111 at ‘Tímár utca’ bus stop  - 3 minutes walk

  • by suburban railway train H5 at ‘Tímár utca’ station  - 4 minutes walk

  • by tram 1 at ‘Szentlélek tér’ stop - 10 minutes walk

  • by tram 17, 19 or 41 at ‘Katinyi mártírok parkja’ stop - 10 minutes walk


 

by bike

there is a bicycle path all along Bem rakpart and Slachta Margit rakpart to north Buda 

and a bicycle lane on Árpád fejedelem útja 

the nearest MOL Bubi public bike docking stations are at ‘Tímár utca H’ and ‘Lajos utca - Nagyszombat utca’

 

by car

 

You can park on the streets. The Institute is located in parking zone C, on weekdays between 8 am and 6 pm the parking fee is HUF 300/hour.
